Create A Task From View<\/h3>\n

1. In the left navigation menu unroll<\/strong> Tasks<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Click on<\/strong>\u00a0Capacity plan\/ Task schedule\u00a0\/ Task statuses \/ Task list\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0– new task can be created from any one of those views.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Click on<\/strong> New\u00a0Task<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Complete All Details. Mandatory Details are red underlined (can be different by company\u2019s settings)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Start date<\/strong><\/td>\nthe date when the work on the task can be started. You can specify the date and also the exact time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
End date<\/strong><\/td>\nthe date when work is to be finished, it is a deadline. You can specify the date and also the exact time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Owner<\/strong><\/td>\nthe person who decided to create the task.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Assignee<\/strong><\/td>\nthe person who works on the task and is responsible for its delivery.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Participant<\/strong><\/td>\nthe person who co-works with the Assignee on the task.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Reporter<\/strong><\/td>\nthe person who should be notified about task changes, status, and updates (e.g. Traffic Manager, Creative Director,…). * Reporter is switched off in default.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Author<\/strong><\/td>\nthe person who creates the task.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Job<\/strong><\/td>\nthe task that is assigned to the job\/client overhead\/internal overhead.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Allocation<\/strong><\/td>\nthe number of hours that are allocated for the task.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Correction<\/strong><\/strong><\/td>\nthe correction to the original allocation. You can add additional hours or decrease the number of hours needed for the task.\u00a0* Correction is switched off in default.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Recorded<\/strong><\/strong><\/td>\nthe number of hours\/time records already reported to the task.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Over<\/strong><\/td>\nhow many hours over the allocation (+Correction) we have already used.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

5. Press SAVE<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n
