ToDo – Small and Quick Tasks
ToDo items are designed as small and quick tasks that can be:
- created on any entity in the system,
- created independently without being linked to a specific entity,
- and then assigned either to another user or to yourself.
ToDo items are especially suitable for short operational tasks, reminders, or simple requests that do not need to be recorded as full standard tasks or as part of a more extensive agenda.
Each ToDo has a simple workflow and only two basic statuses are recorded:
- Done – marked by the responsible person once the task has been completed.
- Closed – marked by the requester once they acknowledge or approve the completion.
A ToDo is removed from active records only after it is marked as Closed.
ToDo items are quickly accessible directly from the system’s main menu.
The ToDo icon shows the number of ToDo that:
- are due today,
- or are overdue.
This gives the user an immediate overview of the most urgent ToDo items that require attention.
Each user has access to their own ToDo overview, which displays tasks:
- assigned to that user,
- sorted by due date.
This overview makes it easy to track what needs to be completed first and keeps all small operational tasks in one place.
ToDo items are primarily intended for recording smaller operational requests. For more complex assignments, broader coordination, or more detailed work management, we still recommend using standard tasks and other related agendas in the system.
